Someone is getting a visit from the Tooth Fairy tonight!
Ride
In between church services and Laura’s acolyte responsibilities, Andy and I squeezed in a ride together. You take the chance when you can because riding together really only happens about one time a month for us. I had grand thoughts when I first started cycling that we would ride together all the time, but that never materialized. Life and schedules get in the way and we often end up riding with other people or by ourselves. Today, we did manage to get in 12 miles together as we slogged down the Bear Creek Trail together. It was muddy and sloppy in a lot of places, but I still got a really good workout as mud provides some extra resistance. I also got some time with my husband without the kids. I will take it.

New Cycling Jacket
Thanks to my membership in Big Tree Cycling, I can purchase things once a year through the Ambassador program, which is basically a discount on lots of different cycling items. It is how we bought Andy’s pro-level road bike last year and, typically, how Andy purchases new tires, inner tubes, etc. Since Andy handled the maintenance items and I do not need a bike, I got a new cycling jacket. It was nearly half off and this thing is amazing! I am going to be toasty warm on cold-weather days!
