Girl Scout Cookies!
It is Girl Scout Cookie time! If you want Thin Mints, Lemonades, or any of the other six kinds, including the best S’Mores around, let us know. We have a Cadette who would love to sell to you! Online ordering is set up and shipping is very reasonable. If you are out of town, I just need your email address. You will get an email from the system that allows you to order from Laura’s site. It is quick, fast, and easy and the cookies come directly to you. If you are in Columbia and want a super cute Girl Scout to stop by, we can do that too. Bring on the cookies!
Committee Meeting
Tonight begins my tenure as Cub Scout Pack 2 Treasurer. I attended my first committee meeting at Shiloh and enjoyed a glass of wine (or two) while trying to wrap my head around everything. There is homework in my immediate future as I sort through everything. Up first is determining how much was spent last year on the Blue and Gold Banquet, so the organizers have a ballpark budget.
Full Day
It was a full day for us. First, I took Laura to the dentist to have a couple of cavities filled. She was a champ and was done in less than thirty minutes. After about an hour at home and a quick lunch, we headed to Hollywood Theaters to see “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” We all enjoyed the movie! It was better than Andy and I expected and the kids thought it was amazing. They loved seeing all the new creatures in the movie. They are now obsessed with Porgs…
Finally, Laura had her first cheer practice of the year for Upward Cheerleading. Time to fluff some poms!
