We spent the afternoon enjoying wine and the beautiful views at Serenity Valley Winery.

Carol and Shawn
Carol and Shawn are here! It was a great afternoon of catching up, followed by dinner at Agave. There is just something about spending time with friends that you don’t talk to often and, when you see them, it is like you just talked yesterday.
Not Quite the Day We Planned
Andy and I didn’t get our bike ride to Boonville and back today because of the rain, but it was still a productive day. We had breakfast at Meriweather’s and then stopped at Best Buy and Hobby Lobby. I now have a new, 8-quart programmable crockpot, but I am sad to get rid of the one we got for our wedding.
I also cleaned the house and Andy installed our new backsplash behind our stove. This is the before.

Four-Day Weekend!
Bring on the four-day weekend! Tomorrow, I unplug from work for the first time in years. Andy and I are planning a long bike ride followed by fun with the college bestie, Carol, and her husband, Shawn, and time with our kiddos! Food, drinks, and fun. Labor Day Weekend staycation!
