We took advantage of the two-for-one activity passes at the resort. We got to spend the day doing lots of different activities. I spent the day taking pictures because it was so fun watching my family. Maybe I should have participated more, but the pictures… I got to watch Laura go ziplining with a huge smile on her face.

Andy took a turn too!

Then, there was the Mountain Coaster. John was a hard “no” on it, but Laura is our real daredevil…

Instead, John went through “The Wreck Tangle” three times. It is basically a small “American Ninja Warrior” course. He loved EVERY part of it. His natural athletic ability showed through.

We didn’t get to do quite as much as we wanted to because it rained a lot, but it was still a very fun day. Listening to Andy and the kids talk about the coaster and the Wreck Tangle just made me smile. These are the moments that matter.

I woke up this morning to find this. Contrary to popular belief, coat hooks are, in fact, not for coats.

We had a leisurely breakfast and then headed out to show the kids (and Cody) the resort. Of course, the picture opportunities were plentiful.

We also took the proverbial selfie on the way back to the condo. In case you didn’t know, cyclists like to take pictures of three things – bikes, beer, and themselves…

After a quick lunch at the condo, Andy drove the kids and me on the Copper Triangle route. This bike ride is 80 miles and includes three mountain passes. This is just before Fremont Pass.

This is the second mountain pass, Tennessee Pass.

The final is Vail Pass. We didn’t stop as it was raining and we needed to get back to make dinner. We spent the rest of the evening eating, spending time with friends, and enjoying this beautiful view.

It simply doesn’t get any better than that.

We made it to Colorado and, of course, had to stop at the sign. Welcome to Colorful Colorado!

We arrived at Copper Mountain Resort right about 8 pm. This is the view from our condo deck.

Finally! Vacation! It is time to relax with family and friends.

This is just the beginnings of the food that needs to be packed for Colorado. I have lots more to do!

Andy and I actually managed to steal about an hour to share a drink together today.

The sticker is on!

We have stairs on our new deck! All that is left is to rip the old stairs off and finish the railing. We are so close!
