Boardwalk
I walked to the boardwalk on the Bear Creek Trail today. I usually only ride that route, but it made for a really nice walk.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the fabulous moms out there! I really, really miss my mom today, but I am thankful to have this family of mine.
On a side note, we jokingly told the kids today that I wanted another baby, so they would have to choose which kid goes. For some reason, they rolled their eyes at us and walked away. I have no idea why…
Hiking
The boys took a 5.9 mile hike today at Three Creeks Conservation Area so that John could finish his final requirement for the Second Class Scout rank. Despite some complaining from John, they really did have a good time. John only needs sign off on the hike, board review, and a Scoutmaster’s conference. It is time to start working on First Class!
Baby Robins
The baby Robins will be taking flight soon. They have literally doubled in size the past week, and they do not really fit well in the nest anymore. I have very much enjoyed looking at these three from my “office” the last few weeks!
