Happy Birthday to me! It was a day of relaxation with little motivation and amazing food. The Pulled Pork was absolutely fantastic. That husband of mine sure delivered!

The German Chocolate Bundt Cake that I made for dessert is definitely a keeper recipe! Be careful how much you eat though. Andy had to take one for the team! I think it just might be the most dense cake I have ever had.

It is food preparation for my birthday! First, I made myself a German Chocolate Bundt Cake. It is a new recipe, but it looks amazing even without being frosted!

For the main course, Andy is making Pulled Pork. Yes, that is way more than we need for tomorrow. Andy is smoking 25 pounds of pork butt roast to freeze. It is dinner for both my birthday and down the road. That is a birthday win!

The butter dish is officially Topanga proof. Well, that is until she figures out how to open kitchen cabinet doors…

John brought this certificate home today. We have an eighth grader.

The first piece of the new patio furniture arrived yesterday and Andy put it together today. We are looking forward to getting the chairs to complete the set for our downstairs patio!

The new pantry is complete! All the organizers are in place. Everything is out of plastic bags and in labeled, food storage containers. This little additional amount of shelving made such a difference in the kitchen cabinets. I love it!
