I am looking forward to wearing these this weekend! Go Stars!

One of my favorite baseball moms in the world made me this awesome shirt to wear to John’s games! I could not love this shirt anymore!

I spent the morning hanging out at Hatton-McCredie Elementary School while Andy rode in the Show-Me State Games road cycling races.

After a disappointing DNF in the 19-mile race thanks to a flat tire, he came back in the 28-mile race to finish sixth overall and second in his age group. He finished with the lead group and it was fun to watch him cross the finish line.

Congratulations, Andy! I am so proud of you!

And, just like that, this handsome guy is 13. He may look like a slightly shorter version of his Dad, but he is really an interesting mix of both of us. Welcome to the teenage years, John! Stay sweet, enjoy life, and make sure you always have a kiss for me. We love you to the stars and back. Happy Birthday!

15! Fifteen! 15! It doesn’t seem possible.
Laura is turning into quite the young woman. She’s beautiful. She’s intelligent. She reads. She’s a band geek. She’s a Daddy’s girl. She’s stubborn. She loves bread. She rides bikes. She draws. She’s a gamer. She’s 15.
Happy Birthday, Red! We love you to the moon and back!

We went to Kobe Japanese Steakhouse for dinner tonight to celebrate John turning 13 on Thursday. It is always fun to watch the chefs at the hibachi.

Everything was delicious and there was way too much food as always. Happy Early 13th Birthday, John!
