Andy got up at 4:00 am today to meet a group of cycling friends. Each year, they participate in the “Heart of American Marathon Rolling Cheer Squad.” The group stops at various points along the route to cheer on the runners. The runners really appreciate it as this marathon is considered one of the hardest in the country. Despite the really early morning, Andy always has a really fun time, and today was no exception.

Today was a rainout for the team. Since Mother Nature changed our day plans, John and Clayton spent the morning in the pool and then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch and Oberweis Dairy for dessert.

We headed to SkyZone next so that the team could burn off some energy. This wall and dodgeball were the clear winners.

We spent the rest of the night at the hotel with great friends. Unfortunately, the tournament is a real rainout and there will be no play tomorrow. I guess that just means no early bedtime for the boys!

The Big Star and the Little Star make pure gold together. They had me laughing so hard all the way from Moberly to St. Charles. I love our baseball family! Bring on tournament weekend!

Tonight saw the return of Bikes & Brews, one of our favorite events of the cycling year. There is nothing quite like a pub crawl on bikes.

There were four stops this year with tasty beer.

We wrapped up the night at Gunter Hans with great friends, great drinks, and lots of laughs.

Thanks to PedNet for another great event and for the excuse to hang out with some amazing people.
