The Fall Court of Honor was this evening for our Scouts. It was Laura’s first and she earned her Firem’n Chit and her Totin’ Chip.

John earned service hours.

He also earned nine merit badges.

I think the highlight of the night was Troop 523 being recognized as Founders. It will be very fun to watch these young women trailblaze the path for many more to come.

Congratulations to both our Scouts! Your Dad and I are proud of you!
Tim and Renee arrived yesterday to pick up their cats. Today, we took a ride to Cooper’s Landing.

We spent the afternoon enjoying good drinks, the Missouri River, and great friends.

It will be hard to watch them leave tomorrow.
It is an exciting day as John is officially on the same size bike (56 cm) as Andy. Thanks to CycleX for the heads-up yesterday that they happened to get three Specialized Diverges in stock.

Happy New Bike Day, John! Now, go put some miles on your very own Specialized Diverge!

This is my favorite part of Friday Night lights.

This is what happens when you tell the stylist to use a 1 instead of a 2. I just see my little boy when he used to love his hair cut this way.
