Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time

Today was a rainout for the team. Since Mother Nature changed our day plans, John and Clayton spent the morning in the pool and then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch and Oberweis Dairy for dessert.

We headed to SkyZone next so that the team could burn off some energy. This wall and dodgeball were the clear winners.

We spent the rest of the night at the hotel with great friends. Unfortunately, the tournament is a real rainout and there will be no play tomorrow. I guess that just means no early bedtime for the boys!

The Big Star and the Little Star make pure gold together. They had me laughing so hard all the way from Moberly to St. Charles. I love our baseball family! Bring on tournament weekend!

Tonight saw the return of Bikes & Brews, one of our favorite events of the cycling year. There is nothing quite like a pub crawl on bikes.

There were four stops this year with tasty beer.

We wrapped up the night at Gunter Hans with great friends, great drinks, and lots of laughs.

Thanks to PedNet for another great event and for the excuse to hang out with some amazing people.
To say Laura is excited is an understatement. The Hickman High School Marching Band was told at practice this evening that they will be playing the halftime show at the Mizzou football game on September 18! This is quite an incredible opportunity for a high school band. Yes, the game will not be much fun to watch as it is a non-conference game, but it is still the opportunity to play in front of at least 40,000 people. I am so happy for Laura!

It is my Scouts on meeting night.

Laura has a full uniform now and her new Scout book cover came in today. She is ready to go!
