I started putting up the main Christmas Tree after everything else was done.
It only took about 90 minutes this year, but the rest of the decorations will have to wait. I am just too tired. We will decorate it tomorrow after Andy and the kids get home from their Monday night Scout meeting.
The Illinois Blumes decided to stay another night. So, they helped us begin the Christmas decoration process and then we visited some of the best Christmas lights that Columbia has to offer. Our first stop was Logboat Brewing, home of the Candy Cane Crib.
It is always fun to see the lights all over the building and the beer garden. It is so obnoxious that you just have to love it!
Our last stop was the Magic Tree. It is just as beautiful as ever.
I appreciate this tree more and more every year.
It was an early to bed for all of us as the Illinois Blumes plan to leave right after breakfast at JJ’s Cafe tomorrow. They should be on the road pretty close to 7 am.
It was a lazy day after Thanksgiving. We hung out with the family, watched football, and ate pizza. There was not much action, but it was very relaxing for all of us.
All the Blumes arrived by 4 pm and the Thanksgiving festivities began. We laughed for hours, ate great food, and had just the best time. It will be crazy the next few days, but it is so worth it!
