John is closing to catching Uncle Jeremy…

Present opening began about 8 am. As the kids gets older, the pile of gifts gets smaller. There were several gift cards for both kids, but they did get a few actual presents.

Laura got some books.

John got some baseball-themed decorations for his room that include a “History of Baseballs” poster, two trophy shelves, and baseball holders.

Andy got several bicycle-themed gifts like a new jersey, socks, and a coffee mug.

And, I got a new FitBit Versa 2 smartwatch.

We spent the rest of Christmas day relaxing, eating great food, and hanging out with Jeremy. Merry Christmas!
Christmas Eve started in the kitchen making Cinnamon Rolls and Cranberry Cheesecake.

After some relaxation time, the 70-degree weather could no longer be ignored. So, Andy and I went for a bike ride during the afternoon. I was actually too warm in my long-sleeve jersey!

After the bike rides, we went to Glenn’s Cafe for an early dinner.

All of us enjoyed our meals, but a certain teenage boy literally devoured his Buttermilk Brined Fried Chicken.

We finished the evening watching Christmas movies. It was a great way to spend Christmas Eve.
You are never too old to get your picture taken with Santa Claus.

It was a great night to visit the Budweiser Clydesdales at Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville. It was not too busy this evening and it was not too cold outside.

There were a few horses outside that would walk right up to you to be petted.

There were also lots of picture opportunities as most of the main grounds have lights.

On the inside, there were many more Clydesdales to see, including J.Lo and her baby, Justice.

As we wandered through the stables, we realized that we saw some of these horses two years ago when they were just babies. They are definitely much bigger now! We also had our picture taken with X-Man.

It was a fun night that served as the perfect start to our Christmas holidays. The kids are out of school until January 4!
We have two new ornaments on our Christmas tree this year. This one is from our summer trip to Colorado.

This one is from Battlefield Lavender, and it is filled with lavender buds.

We have a few more that will be added on Christmas morning.
