The two dove squabs in one of our front hanging baskets should be leaving the nest soon. They have gotten so big!

The Mid-MO Stars won their fourth championship of the 2022 season coming from behind once again. John hit a home run in the first game and combined with the catcher to throw a runner out from right field in the second game. It was a fun day at the baseball field!

This little hummingbird got stuck in our garage today. She exhausted herself trying to get out and finally perched on one of the license plates hanging on the wall. Andy carefully pulled her free and then put her on the hummingbird feeder in the backyard. She eventually regained her strength and flew away. You do not realize just how small hummingbirds are until you see one in Andy’s hands.

The paws must always be underneath the shade for maximum sun.

I believe we have a stand off…

Until next year, Copper Mountain…

It is our last day in Colorado, so we took advantage of some of the things Copper Mountain has to offer. Andy and I went for a morning walk.

We took a scenic lift ride up Copper Mountain to enjoy the views.

John did the Wreck Tangle.

The kids watched television in our condo while Andy and I enjoyed some wine.

We went out to dinner…

…where John discovered that he likes Calamari.

It was a great last day! Now, it is time to pack up as much as we can…
