When Andy does the Green & Black ride on Wednesday nights, I tend to be lazy in the kitchen. Tonight, it is pre-packaged cheese tortellini and Hy-Vee brand three cheese marinara sauce. It fits my “night off” mentality well…

It is the beginning of many lasts. We officially have a Senior!

It was a back to school night barbecue for Troops 523 and 706. I cannot believe that schools starts tomorrow. Where did our summer go?


Laura wants to play her Grandpa’s tenor saxophone in Jazz Lab this year. It has been a really long time since I have played, but we have a friend who performs a lot. So, Laura had an impromptu lesson today!

John and I joined Andy at Cooper’s Landing tonight. It was a beautiful night for a ride! It is too bad that the typical Missouri heat arrives again tomorrow…
