No matter what we do, we always seem to forget to change out the chair seats with the different seasons. We have four different sets, and the winter set stayed on most of the year. I consider it a win that the fall seats are on in mid-September.

Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time
No matter what we do, we always seem to forget to change out the chair seats with the different seasons. We have four different sets, and the winter set stayed on most of the year. I consider it a win that the fall seats are on in mid-September.

The Marching Band Clarinet Section shirts are in. This is the front.

This is the back.

It is our Queen Bee’s last section shirt.

My work heart is full. Tonight, the amazing staff at the MU Assessment Resource Center (ARC) and our partner organization, the eMINTS National Center, took over the Dodge room at Shakespeare’s South for dinner. Everyone is in town for a staff retreat, and it was the chance to see people in person after COVID, meet colleagues that we have only met via Zoom, eat great food, and socialize.

When I took over as Interim Director of the ARC in March 2019, I was so green. I had this ridiculous idea that these people work for me. It took some bumps and bruises, but I came to realize that I actually work for them. Now that I am Director, I find myself feeling thankful every day to lead this truly unique group of people. They are the absolute best excuse for going to work every day. So, tonight, I took the opportunity to give back just a little to them and their families. I know it is not enough for all the incredible work that they do, but it is a start.

While switching out all the pictures tonight,…

…I realized that there are only two pictures left to add. Time moves too fast.

We added Fall decorations to the basement this year.

Yes, I am obsessed with holiday decorations.
