We joined the kids in the dining hall for lunch before the first home football game of the year. It was great to see them!
Then, the craziness that comes with the first home football game of the year began.
We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the kids are relatively close to each other during part of the pregame show, and I was able to get them both in the same picture.
I do have to say that this band is something special. The sound that they put out is amazing, and the halftime show is just fun! I am looking forward to seeing the last movement at the next football game.
As for football, SEMO did win, but they played very sloppy. I would guess that they will not be hosting a playoff game this year. Despite the heat, it was a great day watching the kids doing what they love, and a SEMO win was a bonus.
