Last night was a great night with friends! The Lowerys, Jenna and the boys, and Jeremy came over to ring in the New Year. We laughed until our sides hurt and “Giggly Andy” made an appearance. We ate some great food and we drank some great beer (ahem, B, Schlitz! OK, so maybe it wasn’t all great beer), various malt beverages, and, of course, champagne. When Andy popped the cork on the champagne bottle, it flew from the kitchen to the back living room wall and then landed about halfway in between. I’m surprised there isn’t a dent in the wall! We took some fun pictures (Rachel managed to catch Andy’s and my first kiss of 2012 on camera) and some, um…, interesting pictures that shall never be posted anywhere! LOL All in all, we just had a great time laughing and talking. What a fun way to ring in the New Year!
After wrapping up the festivities a little after 1 am, it was much needed sleep. I’m happy to report that despite me getting up with the kids at 6 am, we have no hangovers in the household and happy kids. Happy New Year All! May 2012 be as great for you as it was ringing it in!
So fun looking at your web page today and how much Jill and I have morphed you into our little word, LOL! The worst part is that you completely did better than I did on your project 365! I decided since Becky Higgins and Shutterfly have teamed up that I will be doing my 365 digitally on shutterfly this year. You have inspired me and I really hope I can do a better job this year, LOL! Love reading your posts thank you for sharing your families everyday with all of us!
