If you see Laura today, make sure to say, “Happy 17th Birthday!”

Make sure to buckle up, Red, because it is going to be a crazy year. I cannot wait to see what you accomplish!

Andy and the kids went to Camp Hohn this evening for the Order of the Arrow Call-Out ceremony.
Laura served as a runner.
It was a late night for them as they did not leave for home until about 9:30 pm, but I love Laura’s service to scouting. She has even expressed interest in being a member of their staff next year. It is awesome to see.
Laura was so excited after Marching Band rehearsal last night. They finally got the show music, and she was telling us all about it. It is tentatively called “The Hive.” I am looking forward to seeing it. Marching Band camp starts in 10 days!

A new recipe is on tonight’s menu – Poblano Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas. They were very tasty, so I will be adding another recipe to the database.
Sometimes, I see an idea on Pinterest, and I cannot stop myself from actually doing it. Up this time is homemade Vanilla Extract. I am looking forward to giving these as Christmas gifts!
