Laura and I cleaned the kids’ bedroom today and she was so excited to help! Oh, how I will miss the days when helping isn’t fun anymore. 🙂

Visiting Daddy’s Office
Tasty Tasty Dinner!
I love the dinner we had tonight. It’s so good and only takes about 20 minutes to make! It’s Pierogies with Meat Sauce. The picture is of the meat sauce.
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg (12.8 oz) frozen Potato and Onion Pierogies
- 8 oz uncooked Italian Sausage
- 1 pint Red or Yellow Cherry Tomatoes, halved
- 1 can (8 oz) Tomato Sauce
Directions:
Boil Potato and Onion Pierogies according to package directions. Drain and keep warm.
Brown Italian sausage. Drain fat. Reserve 1/2 cup tomatoes. Add remaining tomatoes and tomato sauce to skillet. Cook uncovered 6-8 minutes or until tomatoes begin to soften.
Divide pierogies among plates and spoon on tomato sauce. Top with reserved tomatoes.
Old Picture
I was going through my file cabinet at work today and came across a file of old pictures of the kids. I moved not to long ago to a new office and I guess I stuck them in that file folder thinking that I would put them up. I found the below picture and then I proceeded to giggle for quite a while…..
I’m sure you understand why I was giggling. It was a really good laugh in the middle of an otherwise rotten day when I was fairly grumpy. One bright spot. 🙂
Word of the Day
The Word of the Day *WAS* frustration. Rough day at work and nothing seemed to go correctly.
The Word of the Day is *NOW* family. In just a very short time, my family can make me forget everything else. The reassuring hug from Andy and the happy smiles from the kids as they play with the neighbor kids.
Easter Decorations!
Today, we took down the St. Patrick’s Day decorations and put up the Easter decorations. The whole family helped. Andy helped get the boxes from the crawl space and unpack the boxes. Laura helped unpack the boxes. Both Laura and John helped place the decorations.
