Senior Marching Band photos arrived today.
Laura waited for “so long” to have these pictures taken, yet I find myself wishing that we had just one more year…
When the kids leave this early, it can only mean one thing – before school rehearsals have begun for Marching Band. Laura said, “School really starts today, Mom.” Practice hard, Kids! The bar is high! I cannot wait to see the show!
When Andy does the Green & Black ride on Wednesday nights, I tend to be lazy in the kitchen. Tonight, it is pre-packaged cheese tortellini and Hy-Vee brand three cheese marinara sauce. It fits my “night off” mentality well…
It is the beginning of many lasts. We officially have a Senior!
We also have a Sophomore.
Have a great first day of school!
It was a back to school night barbecue for Troops 523 and 706. I cannot believe that schools starts tomorrow. Where did our summer go?
Laura wants to play her Grandpa’s tenor saxophone in Jazz Lab this year. It has been a really long time since I have played, but we have a friend who performs a lot. So, Laura had an impromptu lesson today!
