Going Through Life One Post at a Time
It was the first Friday Nights Lights with the Hickman High School Marching Band and a Hickman Football win!
We got to see the first two movements of the new show, and it was fun to watch. With some more practice, the show will be fantastic! Also, we got to see John’s Senior banner, and I have to admit that I got a little teary eyed.
It seems unreal that this is John’s and Ari’s Senior season of marching band. It seems like he met her just yesterday.
And, the season begins…
The time has come to switch from our summer to fall decorations. I love this time of year!
Laura is racking up the free SEMO t-shirts again this year. She is at three and counting!
With John at marching band rehearsals on Tuesday nights again, Andy and I took the opportunity to spend some time together. Tonight, it was stuffed squash for dinner and tasty wine while enjoying the beautiful weather.
I get this face a lot when I ask John to smile for me.
In case you were wondering, he actually does smile right after I get this face. He is not as funny as he thinks he is.
We went to the Cape Girardeau Farmer’s Market this morning for SEMO Day at the Market. The marching band performed, and they already sound better than last year!
After getting lunch at Broussard’s, we did some shopping at Wal-Mart, Aldi, and Schnucks to get the last of the things that Laura needed. Then, we went to her dorm room to get everything put away. This is the sink and closet on the left side of the room.
This is the desk and seating area on the left side of the room.
This is the kitchen area and bed on the right side of the room.
This is the dresser and closet on the right side of the room.
Her room is now complete, and her refrigerator is full. Our mission is accomplished!
Now, it is time to relax and hang out with our girl at the hotel.
