It has been a super crappy week at work. I am a bit proud of myself because, while I got forceful, I never lost my cool. That is a huge accomplishment for me because I typically do my best problem solving AFTER I lose my cool. I will call that my big win for the week even though I literally got nothing else done. Now, it is time for the weekend, and I am starting with the biggest pour of wine that I could get with the wine glasses that we currently have in the house. The weekend is on!
Annual Charity Refill Wine Walk
Andy and I went to a small wine walk in Columbia this evening. The weather was perfect!
We tasted 12 different wines and enjoyed chatting with different people. It was a great evening with my husband.
Too Big
When he is fully laid out, he just does not fit under his bed anymore…
Beautiful Views
Andy took this picture while on his ride to the Big Tree. Missouri really does provide some beautiful views.
Fall Court of Honor
Laura planned and led the Fall Court of Honor for Troops 523 and 706 as part of her merit badge work for the Communications merit badge.
During the ceremony, John was recognized for earning Personal Watercraft Training and service hours.
Laura was recognized for earning the rank of Life Scout, merit badges, and service hours.
Congratulations to both our Scouts!
Upgraded Centerpiece
Our breakfast nook Fall centerpiece got an upgrade – new LED candles and garland. I love it!
Blue Springs South Marching Band Competition
Well, it was an interesting day for Laura’s last, first marching band competition. The weather was the real winner of the day, but we still got to see the Hickman High School Marching Band perform. If all the bands had been able to perform and awards were given, Hickman would have placed second in their class and third overall against some really tough competition. Great job, Kewpies!
