While waiting for Laura’s bus from Camp MUDD, John decided to see how high he could jump up on a pole and, then, see how far down that pole he could slide. He must have done this ten times and laughed hysterically after each time. Oh, to be five again and find things like this hilarious…
Andy is Home!
Andy arrived home today about 3:15 pm from Balfour Leadership Training Workshop. He had a great time with his Sigma Chi brothers at Purdue University, but it is always good to have him home! The kids and I were all excited to see him and we are glad he is home safe. Welcome back Andy! We missed you lots!
School Supplies!
The school supplies are ready to go! John’s list for Unit A is all shared supplies. Mrs. Hanney replenishes supplies as needed throughout the year.
This is the first year that Laura actually has some supplies that are her own. For Unit B, she needed a school box for crayons, scissors, and pencil top erasers.
Seventeen days left until the start of school. Crazy!
Sleepover
Kathryn is here for a sleepover! It’s been a fun-filled evening complete with a tasty spaghetti dinner, a play performed by Laura and Kathryn, playing, and movies. The kids have snuggled in to watch the first movie of the night, “Wreck-It Ralph”. Both Laura and Kathryn are pretty tired from a very busy day at Camp MUDD, so we will see if there will be a second movie of the night…
Work Days…
Andy left for Balfour Leadership Training Workshop for Sigma Chi yesterday. This prompted me to get my work lists ready for the next four days… Do you think I will be busy?

Final Payment!
Forgotten Day…
These days don’t happen often, but today was a forgotten day. It’s probably because we went to the Lake of the Ozarks yesterday and I spent all of today in catch-up mode. Between it all, I completely forgot to pick up my camera. Oh well…
