…because both your husband and daughter are not feeling well, you improvise! Jack’s Pizza to the rescue. Cheese pizza for the kids and supreme pizza with extra cheese for Andy and I. Hey, it’s not bad pizza and it’s fast. Problem solved.
Amoxicillin #2
Well, Laura does in fact have an ear infection that is affecting her hearing. Fortunately, there is no fever associated with it, so she was okay to go to school. Like John, she will be treated with Amoxicillin and she will return to the doctor in a week to have her ears rechecked. Fun times… Fun times…
Ear Infection
Well, unfortunately, I was correct. John does have an ear infection, and it’s much worse than usual. The doctor said, “His ears are so red that they appear purple.” Fortunately, ibuprofen is a great medicine and he hasn’t been in much pain. Here’s to hoping that he feels better tomorrow!
On a side note, Laura’s teacher emailed me to let me know that Laura appears to be having hearing issues. It’s a new thing and has only happened over the last week. After talking to the doctor that saw John, I made the decision to have her seen by a doctor tomorrow. Hopefully, it’s nothing. Like John, Laura has had a cold with coughing and congestion. I’m just hoping she has an ear infection… I’m thinking that not many parents can say that!
And the Fever Returns…
Crazy Saturday!
It’s a busy Saturday (minus the very relaxing, nothing-to-do morning). Andy has to go to Fulton, MO, to meet with the Westminster College Sigma Chi chapter in the afternoon. I have to take Laura to a birthday party at FlipzUSA and then she has a sleepover with her BFFET (that’s Best Friends ForEver Together) Annabelle. Then, Andy and I have a “short” quiet night with John (meaning until he goes to bed at 8 pm), after which we are off to Deja Vu for a night of comedy with friends! Fun times and busy, busy, busy!
