Going Through Life One Post at a Time
We spent today eating more good food, hanging out and talking, and enjoying some time at Midway Golf and Games. It was a great way to wrap up Thanksgiving.
We have two Thanksgiving traditions – pictures and food. The pictures are always taken in our backyard. Each family gets a turn.
We always take a picture of all of us.
And, after the nice picture of the cousins, we always take a goofy picture.
Then, we eat food and pie. We laugh and joke. We enjoy family.
Traditions are the best!
Today’s baking is done.
List preparation for tomorrow is done.
The house is clean. The kids are on break. My vacation has begun!
All we need now are some Illinois and South Carolina Blumes. Bring on Thanksgiving!
The brisket is in the brine! It goes on the smoker in about 24 hours for Wednesday night dinner with Andy’s family. Thanksgiving is almost here!
Andy found a unique way to use two of the shipping boxes from the In Hoc Vino wine club.
It gets the different bourbons off the bar and finishes off the wall.
I was skeptical when he first told me about it, but it looks great. I love it!
Andy and the kids spent the weekend at the annual Campsgiving campout for Troops 523 and 706.
They ate a lot of great food and just enjoyed the time.
As Andy said, “This campout really kicks off Thanksgiving and the holidays for me.” I could not agree more. Bring on Thanksgiving!
