That is the question. On one hand, these look amazing! On the other hand, it takes half a box of Thin Mints. I did purchase the brownie mix just in case, but… Dilemmas, dilemmas…
Valentines
Tonight, the kids got all their valentines ready to give to their classmates. We were “late” getting them done this year as compared to years past, but, in our defense, we did have an entire week of snow days. Despite all that, the valentines are done and ready to go. The kids will deliver them tomorrow!
Cookie Booth!
Laura worked the first of two cookie booths today helping to sell more Girl Scout cookies for her troop. She will get credit for some of the boxes sold, adding more to her overall individual cookie sales. She worked a total of three hours today and will work two more hours at a cookie booth on Valentine’s Day at the Kappa Delta house on the MU Campus. Laura was very excited to get to participate because she didn’t get to work at a cookie booth last year. She and her troop have sold a lot of cookies so far. Great job girls! Keep up the great work!
It’s Cookie Time!
Family Night Out!
It was Family Night Out. We went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday and then to the Hearnes Center for “Beauty and The Beast.” No, not the play… It was a joint Mizzou Women’s Gymnastics meet (aka “Beauty”) and a Mizzou Men’s Wrestling match (aka “The Beast”). There was so much going on that it was hard to watch just one thing, but what a fun event. The Kassels had a great time watching our Tigers win the night!
I Need This…
After a long day at work that included me dropping part of my lunch on the kitchen floor, I need this Georgia Peach Martini… Suffice it to say, that today was not one of my better days. Time to let the work day go, enjoy this drink, and make dinner for my family. At the very least, I can make this day end well…
The Hobbit
Andy has been reading J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” to the kids. Since we all have been home due to the weather, Andy has taken full advantage of the time and made some real progress through the book. Both kids, along with Andy, are enjoying their time spent together in Middle-earth. Next up is family movie night to watch the first movie in “The Hobbit” series.
