We had to wait in a long line at Logboat Brewing Company.

However, the Lobster Rolls and Lobster Tots were worth it!

It was a great day of marching at the Rock Bridge Marching Festival. We got to watch John perform twice with the Hickman High School Marching Band, and Laura also took the field with the Southeast Missouri State University Marching Band! It was the opportunity for us to see both of our kids doing what they really love. Congrats to both of our kids!

Laura – It was so fun watching you and the SEMO Marching Band entertain the crowd. You all accomplished your mission. The crowd was entertained, and the high school bands were excited! You all put out some amazing sound, and your show is a big, fun party.

John – The results do not always go our way, so second place in class and then overall will have to be good enough for today. Take pride in the best run of the season, and the crowd reaction. In the heart of that crowd, Hickman WAS the Grand Champion.

We love you to the moon and back, Kids! This Mom and Dad are so proud of both of you.

We finally got to see the whole marching band show!

The show is fantastic and just a lot of fun!

To cap off the night, Hickman Football won their third game in a row. They have now won more games in this season than they did the entire time Laura was in high school. Go Hickman!

He does love Cracker Barrel! It cracks me up that he and Ari went there for their one-year anniversary dinner. It was all about the comfort food.

Andy and I had an impromptu date night at Endwell Taverna. It was great food, good wine, and great company. It was the perfect way to spend a couple of hours with my husband.

The Kassel Castle is nearly done with all the upgrades. First, the new HVAC system was installed. Then, the new roof was completed. Now, all that remains is putting the solar panels back on the roof. We hope to have those back on the roof by next week. I am anxious to be done!
