The Kassel Family Project Life 365

Eh.  It happens sometimes…

I have spent the better part of eight hours mixed between late last night and today editing a grant proposal for work.  I have about 1 1/2 to 2 hours left to go of editing time and, then, I have to enter the changes.  I am exhausted as this is some tough work.  I finally had to take a break for a few hours because my brain was on overload.  I am hoping to wrap up the editing before Andy gets home from Orlando tonight.  Making the changes can wait until morning…

One of John’s classmates, Kyra, had her sixth birthday party at FlipzUSA tonight.  Because her older sister, Gretchen, insisted that some of her friends get to come, Laura was invited too.  The kids had a great time at the party playing with their friends!  Laura spent some of the time practicing on the Uneven Bars.

John spent most of the evening running around with Wilson, one of his best friends.

I spent the evening chatting up some of the other moms and dads.  It was a fun party for a great little girl!  Happy Birthday Kyra!

It is Pizza and Movie Night at the Kassel Household!  We are watching Star Wars:  The Phantom Menace.  Fun Friday!

Andy and I went to the MU Men’s Basketball game this evening.  Special thanks to Jeremy for watching the kids for us!  The game went into overtime with MU eventually beating the LSU Tigers.  It’s going to be a bit of a rough year or two for our Mizzou Tigers as they have a new coach and a very young team.  They showed some real flashes of brilliance tonight and I am willing to bet that they are going to be one really tough team in a couple of years.  M-I-Z!

It’s a red wine kind of day…

…on the morning school bus in the cold.  I have to say though that 20 degrees is better than the 0 degrees it is supposed to be tomorrow at this time!
