Fancy Dress
Laura is definitely *MY* daughter! I took her to Kohl’s today with only about thirty minutes to shop. I should not have worried. Laura found her dress for the Brownie Father-Daughter Dance in five minutes. She even asked if it was on sale. Love it!
“Star Wars” Kind of Day
It is a “Star Wars” kind of day. We watched five of the six movies. The only reason why we didn’t watch “Return of the Jedi” today was because we watched it last night…
Yep. Strep.
I was so happy about 1:30 pm to wander downstairs to find John sleeping. He slept about a total of six hours last night. Well, his afternoon nap only lasted about 45 minutes. When John woke up, he was whimpering because his fever was back and this throat hurt worse. It was off to Mizzou Quick Care for a strep diagnosis and Amoxicillin. Hopefully, John will be in full recovery mode by Sunday!
Not Good…
John came home from school with a fever, headache, and sore throat. Not Good. NOT. GOOD…
GIRLS!
This is Daddy asking Daughter to the Brownie Father-Daughter Dance. Daughter originally said no and had no intention of going. Then, Mommy told Daughter that she gets to wear a fancy dress. Daughter smiles and her attitude completely changes. GIRLS!
