Alas, the time has come. School pictures are on Thursday and so it is time to say goodbye to our blonde surfer boy.

It was dinner at Steak N Shake before John’s Baseball Game.

This was supposed to be the Picture of the Day because it shows how the kids’ things are ready to be loaded into backpacks tomorrow morning for school. However, when I went to take the picture off the camera, I couldn’t help but notice the filename, “IMG_9999”. Huh. This would be picture 9,999. 9,999. That is a lot of pictures.
Bike MO
Today, Andy rode in Bike MO 2015. He did the 90-mile route in 5 hours, 33 minutes. I think he is ready for the MS 150 in two weeks!

Drama Club!
Laura decided that she wanted to give Drama Club a try this year. She was cast in “Jack and the Beanstalk” – a musical written for elementary school aged kids. Her role is a farmer and she will perform her songs as part of a group because she was not comfortable performing a solo for her first ever stage appearance. She is *very* excited and cannot wait to start making her costume. The Drama Club will practice every Wednesday after school with the performance on October 8 in the Ridgeway Elementary gym.
