Different
When Laura tells me that she wants some Christmas decorations for her dorm room, I cannot just take her to the store. It is so different these days with her being at college. So, I improvise and take lots of pictures.
From those pictures, she narrows it down. This will hang on her dorm room door.
And, the Santa Suit garland will either be in her dorm room or she will use it at home.
Shopping is different. It is also hard at times. I miss my kid.

This is reason #1,132 that Jim will eventually kill us in our sleep. He sure looks cute though!
No Candy
When Ari will not let John put the entire bag of candy in her car, but John says he is doing it anyway…
Done!
I was able to get the house decorated for Thanksgiving tonight.
I love our living room this time of year.
Fire Alarm
Just as I was beginning to pack up the Halloween decorations, my phone rang. There was a fire alarm at my work building, and I was asked to report the scene. Thankfully, there was not a fire, but the decorations will have to wait until tomorrow.
Time to Change
The Halloween decorations have been taken down. It is time to pack them up and change to the Thanksgiving decorations.
