Going Through Life One Post at a Time
It is time to put the fall and Thanksgiving decorations away. It is Christmas season!

Andy and I took Laura back to college today. She only has ten days left of her first semester!

We spent our last day with the Blumes eating our traditional pizza. We did change things up a bit this year as we went to Shakespeare’s Pizza instead of eating at our house.

Afterwards, we took everyone to Warm Springs Ranch to see the Clydesdales. The horses are so beautiful.

Everyone had a great time.

Part of the fun of Warm Springs Ranch is wandering around the grounds. There are lights everywhere!

It was a great way to wrap up our Blume Family Thanksgiving. Everyone leaves early tomorrow morning.

It was a day of Thanksgiving traditions. In the morning, we ate Eggs Benedict Casserole for breakfast and chatted while we drank coffee. In the early afternoon, we ate snacks, watched football, and took family pictures.

The kids took a silly picture (or several).

We took the group picture.

Then, we ate after Jim carved the turkey.

It was a fantastic turkey dinner with all the fixings.

We spent the rest of the evening just laying around. It is Thanksgiving after all. Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!
I took only one picture today.

I took the picture to text to Kristena to show her that the guest bedroom was ready for them. Somehow, I managed to miss all the fun of our first night of Blume Family Thanksgiving. Oh well…
Our Girl is home! I am so glad to have Laura home for Thanksgiving. The Kassel Castle is clean and shiny, and all the crazy cooking and baking begins tonight with lots of food prep. The countdown to Blume Family Thanksgiving is ON!
