The Illinois Blumes are in town, and we spent the day just hanging out. We went to the pool, enjoyed great drinks, and laughed a lot. This evening, the Fues Family joined us for a fantastic dinner! Days just do not get any better than this one.
Picking Up Laura
Andy was able to watch the last twenty minutes of marching band practice before he picked up Laura for Labor Day weekend. Our girl will be home soon!

Crazy Cat (Picture) Lady
I am becoming the crazy cat lady who only takes pictures of our cat. For now, I will blame that on Laura because she asked all of us to take a picture of Jim each day and send it to her. However, I am not really sure that is a valid excuse in my case.
Annoy My Humans
Sometimes, I wonder if Jim thinks to himself, “Where can I sit that would annoy my humans the most?”

Fall Decorations
Usually, I put the fall decorations out either on Labor Day weekend or the weekend after. However, Laura will be home, and we might have family coming into town. The following weekend is the beginning of all the fall activities. So, I made the decision to put them out today. Our house always looks so cozy when the fall decorations are out, and I love it.
