Back to School Night
It was Back to School Night at West Middle School. Andy followed Laura through her daily schedule. They spent about 15 minutes in each classroom where Andy met all her teachers and he learned about Laura’s day as a middle school student.

Dinner conversation included a discussion about Laura having a crush on a boy. John thought that was hilarious and he laughed so hard for nearly ten minutes. Just so you know, it is impossible to not laugh when John is laughing that hard!

After 36 miles on the bike with Andy and some great friends yesterday to practice for the Red Shoe Ride and the first week of school, it is nothing but relaxation today – a glass of wine… …followed by the annual Vanderveen Pool Party. It was a relaxing and fun day. Happy Beautiful Saturday!
