Spring Training
Andy is loading his bike because he leaves tomorrow morning for Big Tree Cycling’s Spring Training trip. He will get in plenty of cycling and fun with teammates for the weekend. We will miss him, but he also gets to spend the weekend doing one of the things that he loves the most. Have fun, Andy!
New Refrigerator
So, this happened today! Our new refrigerator is so pretty (and fingerprint-resistant)!
We now have 28.4 cubic feet of space. There is so much room inside! I think it is time to go grocery shopping…
Upward Cheer Awards Night
It was a proud parent moment tonight as we watched Laura wrap up her Upward Cheer years with the Christ-like Award.
She could not stop smiling and this mom was so happy to hear all the nice things that were said about her. This kid is a good teammate and even better friend. Congrats Red! Daddy and I love you and we are so proud of you!
Scheduled!
I got a call from Best Buy today to schedule delivery of our refrigerator! That “seven to nine weeks” was actually four. Delivery is set for Wednesday afternoon!
Comfortable?
I am really not sure how sitting like that can be comfortable…
The Last Pinewood Derby
It was another last for the Kassel Family. John participated in his fourth and final Cub Scout Pack 2 Pinewood Derby today.
It was both exciting and sad! John finished third in his Den, which allowed him to move to the Pack finals.
In the end, John’s car did not place in the top three and he ended up fifth overall. His car did win several heats and he qualified to move onto Districts for the fourth time.
It is hard to believe that this was our last. It seems like just yesterday Andy and John were building his first car and now he has four.
