So, it has been a day full of movies and doing nothing.

We broke out my favorite instrument so that Laura could give it a try. She actually did really well despite the fact that my tenor saxophone needs some work. It hasn’t been out of the case in probably ten years and my stepdad bought that saxophone in the 1970s. It might be time to consider taking it to Jerry’s Instrument Shop for an overhaul.

After a long day at work, I am enjoying a new beer. It is the perfect stout for this cold day.

John had his first, real work at the dentist today. His back molars had come in, but had not pushed completely through the gums. As a result, he had two cavities form under the portion covered by the gums. This was completely not his fault because he simply could not brush the portion under the gums. Even so, John had to have the gums that were covering the teeth removed and then the two cavities filled. He really did a great job and remained calm, but I suspect that he will never have another cavity again. He hated every minute of being in the dental chair.

It is time to get back at it! It is John’s first Mid-MO Stars practice.

I cleaned out my sweaters and, rather than donate them, they ended up in Laura’s closet.
