It was dinner and drinks at The Station House with Lauren and Cody. What a great way to spend a Friday night! Love this lady!
No Picture
There was no picture today. It was busy, busy, busy and I just forgot.
Pizza Rolls and Wine
It is not quite the dinner I had planned. At the end of the Big Tree Cycling Green & Black Ride, I got a “911 ish” text from Jeremy regarding John. Jeremy took John to baseball practice tonight and John got hit in the nose by a thrown ball. I had flashbacks to when John got hit in the face during a coach pitch baseball game and left Shakespeare’s in a hurry! Jeremy took great care of John though and I had nothing to worry about. He might be slightly bruised tomorrow, but it was really an “easy” hit. So, instead of Shakespeare’s pizza, it is pizza rolls and wine. It will work.
Never Too Old
Summer School!
It is the first day of Summer School for John! Aside from a bus route snafu, John’s first day went well. He gets to see his friends and the learning is all fun.
Laura is staying home this summer as she has reached that age. I did not see her before I left for work. She is not a teenager yet, but she sure acts like one…
Sunday
Andy and I rode to The Station House at Katfish Katy’s today – 28 miles round trip.
We had Jeremy pick up the kids and meet us out there for lunch and drinks.
It was a great way to spend an afternoon – live music, good food and drinks, a great friend, and beautiful weather!
Once we got home, we went to the pool for a bit, and then Andy installed my “birthday present.” Okay, so a new garbage disposal is not really my birthday present, but the old one started leaking on Memorial Day and since that’s close to my birthday…
The new one is so quiet and the new plug actually holds the water in the sink! Win!
