When I got to rehearsal tonight to drop off John’s water jug, I saw the new backdrops for the Hickman marching band show. They look great, so I had to get a picture of one of them with John! I cannot wait to see them on the field tomorrow at the first competition of the year.

Then, John handed me a pile of clothes before I left, which I threw in the front seat of the car. When I got home, I realized the clothes are the new show shirts and shorts. The design is really neat.

Let competition season begin!

The silver pieces from my grandparents now have a home in our China cabinet. Once I started cleaning it out, I could not stop though. Everything, including all the pieces in the bottom, were washed. I also rearranged and displayed more of our China. I am glad to have this done.

I love when Laura sends me links to the SEMO Marching Band albums. This one is from playing in the stands at Saturday’s game. She is loving band again this year!
