Let the next tournament begin! It is the Greater Midwest Baseball Father’s Day Classic. The Shockers played the Columbia Mavericks tonight. One bad inning cost the boys the game, losing 11-7. We have lost all four games that we have played against the Mavericks, but each time we get a little closer. Next time, we will win. I know it. The boys are so close.
Laura picks the blueberries. I make the homemade muffins. Andy eats the muffins. John refuses to even consider eating one. It is a family affair!
I am a grump today. Even riding with these two couldn’t make it better…

I am enjoying a beer tonight because the announcement will be made at work tomorrow. I have been promoted and given a 10% raise! I will be stepping into the IT Project Director role. Our IT business is growing and we need someone to meet with clients, develop timelines, and then execute the timelines. I will be essentially the project manager for our IT team, so that they can finally focus on programming. I will also be a member of ARC’s Leadership Team. I am very excited to take on this new opportunity and am actually looking forward to work in the mornings! Cheers!

One of the best days of summer vacation has arrived. It is ice cream-making day!
I mixed the Coffee Ice Cream and the Chocolate Ice Cream first because both need to be refrigerate before being put in the ice cream maker.
Then, I made the Blueberry Ice Cream.
I am very much looking forward to tomorrow night and ice cream for dessert!
