I spent part of the evening hanging at Shakespeare’s Pizza with this crew at the first Big Tree Cycling Green and Black ride of the year. I found myself wishing that I could have spent some time on two wheels with them tonight. I am out of shape and there is no way that I could keep up or ride 14 miles easily, but the urge to ride again is right there under the surface. For now, I will have to settle for hanging with a great group of cyclists. Here is to hoping that I can do what needs to be done to be riding my favorite bike ride by summer!
Morning Patrol
It is time to sit in the kitchen window. In about two minutes, Jim will be off to the next window followed by the next window and then the next window until he ends up back here again. Cat life is a lot of work…
Snack Packs
I found these great snack containers on Amazon. The kids and I like the Sargento Balanced Breaks, but those are so expensive. This is much cheaper, and I can put what we all like in them.
Lighting
When the light in the photo matches the graduation announcement perfectly…
Haircut and Dress
It has been a week that has been all about Laura. Today, I took her for a haircut, and then to buy a graduation dress. She found a dress that she liked, so we celebrated with lunch at Panera!
Enrollment
Laura has accepted her offer and is enrolled in Southeast Missouri State University. We also paid the housing deposit, and Laura applied to be in their marching band. We can check another thing off the to-do list.
Coming Fast
All the Senior things are coming fast now. We picked up the Senior sign for our front yard.
Also, we got the proof for her Senior yearbook ad.
This next month is going to fly by…
