I love Shutterfly “free season” as I call it. So far, I have gotten 3 wall calendars, a desktop plaque, a 5 X 7 notepad, playing cards, a reusable shopping bag, a magnet, and a Christmas ornament.

After a discussion today about each troop, John made a decision. He will be joining Boy Scout Troop 706 that meets at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. It is hard to believe that John only has one month of Cub Scouts left.


Today, Andy made his riding goal of 5,000 miles for the first time! He has had that goal for the last two years, but a sore knee and life have gotten in the way. I would have loved to have been there with him, but I am still sick. So, he rode with some team members and then celebrated with a couple of tasty beers from Broadway Brewery. Congrats Andy!

I am sick. This is day 3. This is NOT the way I wanted to spend my Christmas break.
Andy and John took the new Traxxas Slash to the RC Track at Cosmo Park today. Andy took the car out of training mode and John got to see just how fast it could go. To say that he was excited and had a great time is an understatement!

I decided to try something new today. I rode my bike to the closest grocery store to get a few things. It was a fun, new experience for me that I will definitely do again!
