Today was John’s last Den meeting for Cub Scouts. The boys practiced for the flag and bridge ceremonies at the Blue and Gold Banquet next week. I find myself wishing that time would slow down just a little. How are we here already?

Laura went indoor rock climbing at The Bouldering Garden with her Girl Scout troop today.

The girls had a great time and Laura asked to go back sometime.

I am so thankful for her amazing Girl Scout troop and the opportunities that she has. While most girls choose not to continue well before they become Cadettes, her troop is still going strong. I am looking forward to seeing how far she can go!
Half-price beer flights at COMO Growlers and Pints? Yes, please!

Thing One is sick.

So, it has been a day full of movies and doing nothing.

We broke out my favorite instrument so that Laura could give it a try. She actually did really well despite the fact that my tenor saxophone needs some work. It hasn’t been out of the case in probably ten years and my stepdad bought that saxophone in the 1970s. It might be time to consider taking it to Jerry’s Instrument Shop for an overhaul.
