A little extra time and kids off school means homemade Biscuits and Gravy Casserole. It’s what’s for breakfast.

It is the new way to do homework…

There is nothing quite like coming home from work on a busy Monday and enjoying a new beer.

It is time to deliver some Girl Scout cookies! Thanks to everyone who ordered from Laura!

In Laura’s own words:
I went to an amazing youth quake with kids from my church group this weekend and it was an amazing chance to talk to other members of the Christian faith and connect with them. It was a place where we can talk and I can’t wait to go next year.

Since it is snowing out and Laura’s trip to St. Louis was postponed until tomorrow, we took advantage and went to Broadway Brewery for dinner. The restaurant was only about a third full because most Columbians hide in their homes when the snow starts. It was a perfect night with the family!

I really just wanted one good picture of the kids making a “hand heart” as they call it. This has become somewhat of a tradition for me on Valentine’s Day. Over the past five years, it has only taken one to get a good picture. This year was a bit different. Take 1…

Take 2…

Take 3…

Take 4 is the winner! Happy Valentine’s Day!
