Andy celebrated his 49th birthday by taking a 49-mile road ride.

And, because the weather was so mild today, he followed that with a 49-mile trail ride.

He ended the evening in front of the fire with a glass of wine. Happy Birthday, Andy!

It is almost time to make spaghetti sauce for our Saturday night dinner in Colorado with our Big Tree Cycling teammates. These people can eat a lot after riding 80 miles…

I think our truck might be old. Okay, so she has been old for a while, but now she is officially old.

Andy participated in the 19-mile and 28-mile cycling road races at the Show-Me State Games this morning.

It was brutally hot, but he did well! He completed both races and placed second in the 19-mile race in his age group and third in the 28-mile race in his age group.

Congratulations, Andy! We are proud of you!

I don’t know if John will go to Camp Mudd next summer, so we have to enjoy what could be his penultimate Family Night. John was in the “oldest oldest” group this week and he has had a lot of fun! He is very much looking forward to sleeping at Counselor’s Ring and staying up all night.
