Thanksgiving Traditions

It was a day of Thanksgiving traditions. In the morning, we ate Eggs Benedict Casserole for breakfast and chatted while we drank coffee. In the early afternoon, we ate snacks, watched football, and took family pictures.

The kids took a silly picture (or several).

We took the group picture.

Then, we ate after Jim carved the turkey.

It was a fantastic turkey dinner with all the fixings.

We spent the rest of the evening just laying around. It is Thanksgiving after all. Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

Home!

Our Girl is home! I am so glad to have Laura home for Thanksgiving. The Kassel Castle is clean and shiny, and all the crazy cooking and baking begins tonight with lots of food prep. The countdown to Blume Family Thanksgiving is ON!

Dinner Out

We had dinner out with the Fues Family at Broadway Brewery.

We enjoyed dinner while we listened to the Columbia Jazz Orchestra play. As always, they were fabulous! The guest clarinet player was a particular surprise, and I very much enjoyed listening to him. Clarinets can play jazz with the best of them!

It was a great evening spent with great friends, and it was the perfect start to Thanksgiving week.
