Laura received a letter in the mail today from the Boone Electric Community Trust. She was selected for one of the at-large scholarships for returning college students. She will receive $2,000 for next year!
Also, she received notice last week that she received a National Eagle Scout Association scholarship for another $6,000.
Congratulations, Kid! We are so proud of you!
Andy drove to Cape Girardeau to pick up Laura today. They finished packing and emptied her dormitory room.
They loaded the car and drove home.
Then, we all helped to unload the car.
Our girl is home. Year one at Southeast Missouri State University is complete. SCHOOL’S OUT FOR SUMMER!
It may have been one of my worst days at work on record, but this makes it better – a happy son and his beautiful girlfriend.
The more swings with the new bat, the better. He really looked good once he figured out the timing on the pitching machine.
Completed tasks are appearing on our Google Hub as Laura continues to pack up her room. She will be home on Thursday!
Andy built me an herb garden, and he finished planting it today. I am excited to enjoy fresh herbs soon!
John is back at it and working on breaking in the new bat. There is just over one month to summer baseball with the St. Louis Tigers!
