Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time

Eh. It happens. I spent pretty much all of today in a zombie-like, exhausted state. Tomorrow is another day.
The Mid-MO Stars are champions again, taking first place out of seven teams this past weekend in Old Monroe.

We won two on Saturday and ended up with the #1 seed going into Sunday. Despite two shaky first innings, the boys stepped up to bat and simply never looked back. The first game ended 12-5 and the championship game ended 11-3. As I watched both the boys and parents celebrating the championship win, I realized that we are all lucky people to be part of this. It does not matter if the boys are winning or losing even though winning is so much more fun. Family is where the heart is and this team has my heart.

Andy and a small group of friends rode 100+ miles today for BikeMS Inside Out. COVID may have ruined the real ride, but COVID cannot stop the ride.

This arrived today in the mail for Laura. Normally, this would have been presented at Eighth Grade Graduation.

She was so shocked when I showed it to her. Congratulations, Laura! We are so proud of you!

Over the last two days, three of my administrative team members and I worked to clean the supply closet at work. I cannot believe how good it felt to get rid of the mountains of junk that had accumulated over the last 15 years…

We still had transparency film for overhead projectors, and a lot of other things that would never be used. We made three trips to the dumpster and added a lot to our surplus pile. The end result is worth it! We finally have an organized closet and no junk. We will be sending four bookshelves to surplus and have excess space.

We felt so good when completed! We will tackle the kitchen next week. Wish us luck…
