Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time
This is the baseball hardware shelf. It has been a fun couple of months watching the Mid-MO Stars really take off!

John’s Boy Scout Troop has begun in-person meetings again. They are being held in the parking lot and each scout has their own “parking space” for social distancing. It is not normal, but it works!

The Mid-MO Stars are champions again for the third time! They played their toughest competition of the year in the Missouri Baseball Academy 12U Mavericks at the GMB Gold Ring Championships. It was tight game, but the boys just got better and better as the game went on. The fifth inning had the Stars adding one more run and then dominating on defense with three up, three down on four pitches. The game ended after six hard-fought innings with a final score of 7-4.

It was a unique “trophy” for this tournament – championship rings!

I am so proud of each of these boys! It was another great weekend of baseball with the absolute best baseball family around!

These two were so happy to see each other at John’s tournament today. We all miss our Jules!

Carol and Shawn stopped through Columbia on their way to celebrate their anniversary in Branson. We ordered pizza for the kids and then headed to dinner at the Les Bourgeois Winery Bistro.

It was an evening of tasty food, good wine, and great conversation. I am so thankful that they stopped by!

Why in the world is the St. Louis Cardinals game on in my house? Right. It is playoff time. I hope they lose.

And, off Laura goes for another night of Hickman High School Marching Band practice.

Practice ends at 9:30 pm, and Laura will get home between 9:45 pm and 10 pm. When Wednesday night practices first started, Andy would ride up to Hickman High School to ride home with her, but Laura insisted on riding herself home last week just as she will do tonight.
Does it make me nervous for her to be riding that late by herself? Absolutely. However, at some point, you have to let them grow up.
Oh, Laura, I am so not ready for this.
