Andy and Laura put tape lights along the ceiling in her bedroom. They have 15 different colors and various settings. Laura has been enjoying how certain colors make the yellow on her bedspread and pillows appear orange.

It took two days of work, but the Christmas decorations are nearly down. The house looks so bare again.

It was Saturday morning breakfast at JJ’s Cafe. It reminds me so much of “the restaurant” where I grew up.

My co-workers were a little “squirrel-y” today. I tried to get them to do some real work, but they just would not stop eating.

Today, I am grateful for this glass of Bota Box Old Vine Zinfandel.

While everyone else is weighing in on the big world, I am worrying about my little world because I still have to get up each day and keep my little world moving forward. It does not matter that today is a “heavy thoughts” day in my little world because Director decisions are coming. I still have to live it. So, for tonight, I will enjoy the best boxed wine around. Forgive me if I ignore the big world. My little world needs me more.

John apparently had breakfast. I think this might be the definition of “grab and go.”
