I guess Laura will not have school pictures taken tomorrow after all. It is the first snow day of the year!

It was a quiet day with snow and cold temperatures outside and relaxation inside.

I knew the who, what, and where after my first suggestion. It was Colonel Mustard with the candlestick in the Study. Why can’t I get that lucky playing the lottery?

It is time to add six more “keeper” recipes to the Kassel Family Online Recipe Database. I have added more than 75 recipes since the stay-at-home order happened in March 2020. The recipes range from main courses to snacks to sandwiches to desserts and much more. My 22-year old self that only cooked five different meals is shocked, but my 47-year old self is as happy as could be! I am currently obsessed with sheet pan recipes and we are trying two more new recipes next week. What a difference age makes.

School picture day has finally arrived for West Middle School!

Note: He has a polo shirt on under the sweatshirt since almost teenagers do not wear coats. I warned him that he would incur the “Wrath of Mom” if wore his sweatshirt for the picture. He rolled his eyes at me and walked away. That just does not seem to work like it used too.
