Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time

John got the opportunity to participate in the Elks Lodge Flag Ceremony today in honor of Flag Day.

John arrived home at about 11 am today. He had a great time at Yellowstone National Park, but he is exhausted. You can even hear it when he talks. He spent the day chilling in front of the television, playing some video games, and hanging at the pool. It is good to have him home even if it is just for a week. Then, it is off to the first of two Scout camps.

As of noon, John is on the bus for home. The group will arrive in Columbia about 11 am tomorrow morning.

I feel like Hy-Vee is telling me that I need to buy some pre-mixed margaritas.

Well, they are good for the pool, so maybe I should…
John texted a couple pictures today while he was participating in the challenge hike.

The challenge hike is a 12-mile hike through medium-to-difficult terrain. John was not really looking forward to it as he does not like hiking, but he did get some great pictures.

I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures from the trip when he gets home on Saturday.
This is a new experiment for me. I am going to have to wait for Andy to try it though, because I do not really like rhubarb.
