The Hickman High School Marching Band performed at the MU Champion of Champions Marching Festival today.

They were the last band to perform in the preliminaries, and they played so well!

They won their division and made the finals, which was an even better performance than the preliminaries.

While they did not win the finals, it was still the best run through of the show that I have seen all year. Congratulations to the band on finishing third and also on a successful year! It was so much fun watching you this fall!

While making cinnamon rolls for the Clarinet Section breakfast, I am watching the Hickman High School Marching Band perform at Bands of America in St. Louis. It is the last weekend of marching band for Laura.

It is a Great Pumpkin Ale…

…and fire kind of night.

Laura had her first band concert in nearly two years this evening.

It was great to watch her as part of an ensemble again and the band did a great job. Maybe life is returning a little bit back to normal…
