Avry has arrived! Let Thanksgiving begin!

Avry has arrived! Let Thanksgiving begin!

Laura’s permanent Driver’s Permit came today. She was pretty excited even though she really did not want me to take her picture.

Andy and Laura spent the afternoon at Cooper’s Landing enjoying live music by The Lacewings.

It was a beautiful afternoon at the Missouri River and they very much enjoyed the music and time together.

Andy and the kids spent part of the day helping their Scout Troop rake leaves at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. It is just one of the ways that Troop 706 and Troop 523 gives back to their charter organization.

This year’s school pictures have been added to the frames.

I cannot believe Laura only has two open spots. Time really flies.

It was “no picture Thursday” apparently.
I never really noticed until recently how my weekday mornings always go. I am up by 5:30 and in the kitchen. First, I make myself a cup of coffee and then I update the checkbook and pay any bills. After that, I typically check Facebook and local news sites followed by updating my blog.

John gets up about 6:15 and eats breakfast. Then, he gets ready for school and we empty the dishwasher.

Once the dishwasher is empty, I ask John if he has everything he needs for school (I do that probably three times every morning), and then he heads to the bus stop at 6:50.

I prepare my breakfast and lunch, and reload the dishwasher. Then, I drink the last of my coffee while I wait for the bus to pick up John. Laura usually wanders down during this time and I talk to her for a few minutes. Then, it is time for me to shower and head to work. It is the weekday morning routine.
